Living in Livonia

Livonia is one of Wayne County's largest cities, laid out on a mile-road grid with I-96 running through the middle and I-275 along its western edge. Most of its neighborhoods were built from the 1950s through the 1970s, so brick ranches and colonials on tree-lined streets make up much of the housing.

Hines Park follows the Middle Rouge River along the city's southern edge, Rotary Park and Greenmead Historical Park add green space, and Schoolcraft College and Madonna University are both in the city. For buyers, Livonia's central location keeps most of Metro Detroit within a reasonable drive.
